During the time when Xena's talking to Gasgar, Ares suggests something to satisfy both his and Gabrielle's frustrations. PWP so just a little fun.

Passion For Another

Ares stepped back into the farmhouse and watched as Gabrielle placed some firewood in the now cleared chimney. His eyes slowly raked across her outfit. It wasn't that it was any skimpier than her normal clothing options, but there was something slightly more appealing to him about her in the farming garb.

"You know, she's gonna be gone a while." He stated, leaning against the doorframe.

Gabrielle didn't even bother to turn around, "What's your point?"

"Oh come on Gabrielle..."

"What?" she asked, finally turning to face him. Her breath caught at the leer he was sending her way. "Oh".

Ares pushed himself off the frame and took a step forward, "Tell me you haven't thought about it?"

Trying to shrug off what he was implying, she looked back down at the wood pile, and brushed her hands off, "No idea what you mean."

Suddenly he was across the room, grasping hold of her wrists and forcing her eyes to meet his, "Yes you do. You've thought about it the same way I have. There's no denying it."

She couldn't pull away. The scent of him. The feel of his topless form leaning against hers. The surprising softness of his hands against her wrists. Despite losing his powers he held an allure she couldn't deny.

"What about Xena?" she asked, still hesitant to admit he was right.

Ares shrugged, "What about her?"

"You're in love with her arent you?"

"So," he answered, as if it was a simple response. He loved Xena yes, but he had come to accept the fact that she didn't love him in return. That didn't stop him from desiring others. "Aren’t you?"

Gabrielle managed to tear her eyes away at the question. It wasn't something she had expected him to know. Xena surely didn't. It didn't matter anyway, it would never be returned. She felt one hand release a wrist, instead tilting her chin back up to once again meet his gaze.

"This isn't about Xena. I desire you and you desire me. There is no more to it." He watched her close her eyes. The hand on her chin moved slowly down her neck, and Ares saw her breathing increase. "Let me give you the satisfaction your body craves."

Gabrielle opened her eyes again this time full of the desire and lust she normally attempted to keep hidden, giving him the answer to his question. With her free hand she grasped the back of his head and pulled him down for a passion filled kiss.

The hand that had been resting on her neck travelled further down, grasping the edge of her top. He let go of the still bound wrist, and felt her hand now rise up to meet the other at the back of his head, pulling him closer. Now free, both hands grasped her top and pulled it apart, causing Gabrielle to gasp and pull back, her white and pink bra now exposed to his hungry gaze.

He bent his head down, nipping softly at the newly exposed skin, and felt her hands tighten their hold. His own hands now gripped her waist, lifting her up with ease and placing her upon the now fixed table top behind her.

The need to fulfil their desires was overwhelming. It made simple tasks of removing clothing harder and yet more urgent. Gabrielle's top was soon completely discarded, fluttering to the floor without a second thought. Her breeches were next, Ares working them off in between desperate kisses across her chest. The bard became a quick participant, her hands working there way down and untying the laces on his trousers, pulling them down just far enough for her to release him.

He was soon thrusting into her, the table beneath groaning in protest to the sudden movement so soon after being fixed. Gabrielle's legs were once again wrapped around his waist, allowing the former god to pleasure her with ease, one hand settled on her back to help guide her movements, and the other pressed firmly against the table top in an attempt to stay balanced.

Gabrielle had long since closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of being filled. Part of her mind knew she shouldn't be doing this, but at this point she really didn't care. All thoughts of right and wrong, all thoughts of Xena were discarded from her mind, and she allowed herself the rare opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of another. Especially as that other was Ares.

Their movements still fast and needy, it didn't take long for them both to reach their peak, Ares collapsing a little on top of the bard in the process, attempting to catch his breath. They lay there for a few moments, both aware that this would probably never happen again, and both slightly embarrassed they had allowed it to happen in the first place.

As they pulled apart, their eyes met briefly, an understanding passing between them. A small smile and a blush was all the bard could offer, as she attempted to recover herself, her eyes scanning the floor to locate her fallen top.

No words were exchanged as Ares left the building, leaving Gabrielle alone to pull herself back together. Xena would be returning soon, and it would not due for their equilibrium to be out, as she had an uncanny ability for reading people. If she were to notice something was amiss, well Gabrielle was sure the bard in her would not be able to come up with a viable excuse.

Things were about to get very complicated.
